The Institute is pleased to welcome Matthew Shapiro to the Rutgers Law School faculty. After completing his D.Phil at Oxford, where he was supervised by John Gardner, and his JD from Yale, Matt clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts on the United States Supreme Court. Matt’s research focuses on civil procedure and its theory and private law theory more generally. He will join the Law School and the Institute in July.
